Polar Express Observation Cars

I have the Polar Express standard O observation car from the 2009 II catalog #6-25575. I see that there is one #2427310 in the 2024 catalog with new tooling. Does anyone know the differences between the new one and previous one?

I believe the main difference is the new car has a rounded end where the door is vs a flat end on the previous one.
