So I have this set and if I remember correctly........this loco can be powered with 18VAC to the track. The set comes with a 16 VDC power pack that attaches to the track. Can anyone verify that it is safe to apply18VAC to this bluetooth loco. I want to run it through my MTH DCS TIU and control it with my tablet and the Lionel App, I misplaced the instructions that came with this set. But I think I remember the instructions stated that it was OK for 18 VAC. Just want to make sure I am not going to fry my polar express loco. Thank you for your input.

Yes, it should run fine on 18ACV - see attached.

The full manual is available for print-out on Lionel's website.
