Visited MJ's sister and husband in Portland last weekend. Great town, lots of fun on Halloween weekend. Literally across the street from them overlooking the inner harbor is a wonderful 2' Gauge Railway. I know nothing about narrow gauge but was deeply intrigued with the rolling stock and remnants of rolling stock on the property. How about a nice Wood Combine Caboose and a Wood Snow Plow:

Of course I snuck over to the Amtrak station on Saturday and caught 123 idling away:

Hope you enjoyed, Paul.

Probably six or eight years ago, we were in Portland on vacation and visited the 2' gauge museum there.   At the time they did have a steam engine on the property but it was not operable.  We did ride behind one of the little diesels on a short but rather interesting little RR which kind of paralleled the harbor waterfront.  I kind of wondered what has happened since then but have not had the opportunity to go back.

Edaville in South Carver, MA to be exact. The snow plow, boxcars and the short coach which was converted from a boxcar are all ex-Bridgton & Harrison. The diesels are not original to the Maine two footers.
