Posting a draft from "Your Pending Posts" section

For someone who has been a member of this forum for a while now, I keep learning new things.

 

Yesterday I drafted a for sale post in the Your Pending Posts section (first time I've tried this).  Today I posted it to the For sale or Trade.  However, it did not come in at the top of the For Sale but came in on the second page with a post time of about the time I initially saved the draft yesterday.  I had to add a new post to my ad to get it to the top (I'm sure the Webmaster will consider this bumping).

 

I looked at the Your Pending Posts section again and did not see a way to post a draft to another forum where it would come up as a new/first post.  Does anyone know how to post a draft to For Sale or Trade where it will come up at the top?

Ron, That explains what happened to me, I did the same thing but got sidetracked and it ended up being several days later when I posted it from my saved drafts. I never found my original posting, it seems that I didn't look far enough back on the forum.

 

 I could find the post in my activty list on my profile page, so finally much later I clicked on that and replied with a quote of the original posting, that bumped the quote and the original post to the top of the page.  Maybe just go to your activity list and reply to your original post with a simple "Still Available", will bump your post to the top. I know that Bumping is frowned upon/against the rules, but I would feel it justified in a case like this.

 

 Thank You for this post, NOW I at least understand why I couldn't find my own FS/T posting. This is an issue that Hopefully can/will be changed, a posting should appear on the forum in the sequence that it is submitted, NOT when it was saved to draft. I guess that will be the one and only time, that I use the save draft feature.

I have found so many bugs for the Hoopla gang while wringing out this forum that they have give me the unofficial title of "Senior Bug Exterminator."  And...I have a response from Hoopla already! It is:

We've found the issue and will fix it in an upcoming release.  As part of that fix, we'll make sure any existing posts that have the issue will be corrected.

 


I continue to be impressed with the speed at which the Social Strata folks handle things like this.
