As I was pulling out my tablesaw this weekend I had to clean off a little surface rust. As I was cleaning that off I was thinking about how to stop the rust from forming. But then my mind when to how Lionel made all those metal parts and they are black and many have stayed rust free for years not being in the best conditions. I know it is a different situation with the TS but what was the process Lionel used and how bad for the environment must it have been?
