To run convention with the Legacy remote, just wanted to make sure from what I have read I understand.  The new ZW-L replaces the need for a separate powermaster for each block, since it has four built in.  I also believe that the older TPC 300/400 could also replace the powermaster, but those are the only alternatives if you want to run conventional with the legacy remote, correct?  Even if I had a newer 180 watt powerhouse, I still need a powermaster to run conventional.  I guess it comes down to price.  For every four "blocks", I need four legacy powermasters, about $360 ($90 x 4) or one ZW-L, about $700-$800.  I already have the power supplies to supply the power to the powermasters.

Thanks

I guess another option would be to find four of the original Powermasters and then buy a Legacy Powermaster Bridge. I don't think you would save any money doing it like this, and could possibly cost more. It would also require additional wiring I would think. I never said it was a good option...

The TPC 300 seems to go for a bit less money used when you can find them. I think I picked mine up (on the buy/sell forum on this site) for about $75 each shipped. To use the TPCs, you need one of those cables though (I don't know if you need one for the Legacy Powermaster), so that may add to the cost for that route too.
