Is their any way to help collector pass power my sd 60 had to have the collector replased and the new one does not seem to pass power thru consistently causing the train to stop at switches

A collector (roller) will not be intermittent unless there is a loose wire.
There are know loose wires i checked i all so did a continuity check on the wire the roller is touching the rail but I'm not getting power thru don't know what else to check or look for so any suggestions would be helpful
Did you check for continuity between the roller and the other end of the wire, maybe it isn't making a good connection with the other roller.

I did if I run continuity test between the roller and where it connects to the board it's not consistent actually it's not connected most of the time when I work roller up and down does anyone no of a Dielectric grease that mite help
Sounds like a bad solder joint at roller or the board...
