imageI want to make a tray with a box to hold amp and volt meters to monitor my control my test station. I will be using a 990, a legacy powermaster  and what I had hoped my cw80. After reading the power master lit more thoroughly I realized the leagacy powermaster isn’t compatable  with the transformer. My question is what would be the more appropriate power supply.

A 180 Watt powerhouse is what largely the Powermaster series was designed to use.

Otherwise you have to use the cable adapter or make your own to use another ideally 18V AC power source.

This is going to set on my dining room table. Originally I  was going for a nostalgic look in wood tray. It’s about moving all parts simultaneously. I had purchased 1033 just to power the track. I had to send it back. Then I thought about going deeper into this project. Newer power for newer engines. I have several PW engines. Where does the madness stop?  I was looking at the bricks earlier. I wasn’t considering the 180 to run a single engine. Thanx for the info.
