I have several switches, all Ross with DZ-1000s. I wired one up, and it rapidly fires but does not switch. I triple-checked my wiring; I'm just not sure what's going on. The other switches that I wired are exactly the same and are working normally. Do you have any ideas about what I am missing?

Something must be broken or loose between the switch motor and the turnout linkage.
look for missing screws or cracked rods in the linkage.
I’ve had that happen many times. Take the cover off the bottom and see if the tiny gear on the motor has come loose. If so, I’ve simply put it back on with anaerobic glue of your choice.
I don't see anything visually broken. I am going to switch out this DZ-1000 to eliminate the electrical variable. If that works, then I will need to dig deeper into the unit and the mechanisms. However, the last time I opened one up, it ended in a mess; I kept the pieces to remind me of my mistakes.LOL

Do you have it wired for non derailing? I find sometimes I have to check the spacing in my isolated rail because that causes the DZ-1000 to fire rapidly but only stay "switched" in one direction.
