I just watched a u-tube video which looks like it came from Lionel which states that the Powermaster Bridge and the Powermaster should be at least seven (7) feet apart. Anyone have any experience with that??

Not heard that. My powermaster bridge is right next to a row of 3 powermasters. A few Inches apart at most.
Not had any problems that I am aware of.

Thanks!!
I have had direct experience with that! I hooked up the bridge so I could control the track with the Legacy system, and I just set the two next to each other. No workie! I moved them around, and at about 6 feet, they started working.
I believe them.
Hmm. My bridge works fine at 10 ft. when I tested it. I bought the bridge to use on a Christmas layout so I'll have to keep the clearance in mind. I just ran it a couple of minutes and noticed when I hit the emergency stop it took 2 presses to shut down the powermaster. The first press shut down everything but the powermaster and the second completed the job. Has anybody else noticed this?

10 feet is fine, but closer than 6-7 is apparently a problem. Must be signal overload, don't know why else it would be an issue.
I don't have it hooked up right now, but I don't recall needing two pushes to kill it.
Just watched Mike's video. I'll try moving the bridge and see if anything changes.
It has been right next to my powermasters for about two years and it appears to work fine.

Just a little more info - my friend got a hold of Lionel and they confirmed the 6-8 feet. thanks for all the help.
When I first connected the PowerMaster Bridge and tried to use the PowerMaster, I hadn't bothered to research it, and I set them side by side. I was puzzled that they didn't work. The odd part is the CAB1 next to a PowerMaster was never a problem.
