In moving my track power supply I  blew the fuse in my Powermaster.  I read through earlier posts and tried all the suggestions short of wiring in a breaker, wirh no luck. I'll try Lionel today, but I'm not very optimistic.

My question is what would the impact be if I used a 7A or 8A fuse? My layout isn't very big, single track with sidings, approximately 10'x12'.

Thank you in advance for your wisdom.

Hi John, the problem was that I moved my transformer, Powermaster, and Legacy Cab-1L base. When I turned on the power after the move, I didn't realize my contacts to the track were touching.

Since the Powermaster came with a 7.5A fuse, is it safe for the Powermaster and Legacy electronic to use an 8A fuse, or should I just go with a 7A fuse?

Thanks.
