I sure hope I can post this info here. There is a fellow on the Mercari site that seems to know little about Lionel and has a prewar set in original boxes with a few possible rare cars, the 2613, 2614 in green, and a 1702 (unknown color). The 2613/14 are a bit rough paint wise, but he is selling the whole lot and 'asking' 500 but open for offers apparently. I emailed him a couple times about his set and tried to send him to OGR but the site administrator for Mercari axed my email. Apparently their email police are just as bad as Ebay's. Look for 'Vintage Train Set' over there. I also asked him to get pics of the cars individually, all of them are in boxes with only the 2613, and 2614, plus the 226E loco pictured. There is also a 1701 car in there too. Even at Greenberg's lowest price suggestions per car, this could be a real find for someone out there.
