As Russell pointed out earlier in this thread. I choose Scaletrax. There were some issue with some switches that were easily corrected. The included plastic toggle switch that comes with the switches is junk and I would advise just throwing them out as they have cost me a couple of turnout switch machines because the toggle switch stuck in the on position leaving the switch machine energized and causing it to melt. Pretty scary to see how hot these things become when this happens. I have attached a photo of the carnage. Other than that I have been very happy with Scaletrax. I think it is the best looking and scale track available in 3 rail. Here are some photos of it on my layout.

Good to see you posting, Your layout is a work of art.

Glad to see you jumped in with pictures.  They show what can be done w ScaleTrax.

 

And By the way, I found a circuit from the late Bob Pease that will fix the burning up if the switch sticks.

Drop me an email if you want it. It will work on ANY solenoid switch. You just have to alter resistor values to match the solenoid.
