Turn off Clikity-Clack: Menu/Sound/Clikity-Clack, press the OFF soft key and press the thumbwheel.

any ideas about the low volume?   even under 35 mph

When it first starts up is it loud then drops off in a second or 2?  Are you using a BCR?  Does it d this in conventional and DCS?  G

Sound is the same.no change in volume. I have not run this engjne in conventional

I just looked at the model and this is a PS-3.  I would do a factory reset with DCS and see if that fixes it.  If not, I would power up conventionally and do a feature reset 1W and 5B, you will hear 2 toots to acknowledge the reset.

If that doesn't fix it, I would turn off track power when started up in neutral and see if shutdown sound play.  If not, you may have a bad super capacitor causing low volume issues.

If shutdowns play fine, I would call MTH.  I don't know if this model has lower volume output.   G
