I have been using TMCC but have now acquired a Legacy system. I have a diesel that I had programmed as engine #15 while using TMCC. I watched the video several times but I am not sure if I still go through the programming procedure using the Cab 2 with engine 15 selected or is there another method. Thank you for any help provided.

Are you trying to change the engine ID? If not, Legacy will still control it as ENGine 15. That number is actually stored in the loco. When I swapped out the old command base/CAB-1 for the Legacy Base/CAB-2 I could access all of the engines that were set up with the old system by just punching in their id numbers.
Thanks I'll try that. Once you called it up did you then follow through with the engine module update into the Cab 2
When you add the engines to your remote make sure the control is set to TMCC or Cab1 and not Legacy for TMCC command engines. They will not respond to commands if they are set to Legacy. Only Legacy engines can use the LEG option. I never use the modules. I just add the engine manually. After you've done it a few times you can get an engine programmed in a minute or so. It would take me that long to find the module.

When you address a TMCC engine with a CAB 2 remote, in this example eng 15, the remote automatically defaults to cab 1 mode (Legacy "Cab 2 is backwards compatible).
Hope this helps.

Once you have the loco "recognized" you can edit the settings to change the mode and sound settings.
