I recently picked up an Atlas FM Erie built powered b unit (stock # 1213) . It had been stored for years (gummed upped grease etc). Cleaned - runs great now. The Train America Studio (TAS) smoke unit, the fan motor does not spin. The resistor heats up, and when I applied 5 volts DC directly to the motor terminals it did spin. Wires seem to be intact. I know this is at least a 15 ++ year old smoke unit. But is there anything else I should look at ? Thanks in advance.
