My Lionel 6-14113 Transfer Table no longer moves forward when I issue a TMCC command to the SC-2. It will only move in the backward direction when using the CAB-1. It still operates perfectly in conventional mode using the controller supplied with the transfer table. Any ideas on why the SC-2 signal won't activate the forward function of the motor like it once did. All contacts have been checked and cleaned.

Did you try another position on the SC-2? If the SC-2 is basically just connecting a switch contact (substituting for the controller) and the controller still works, it sounds like the SC2 may have partially died.

Like Dave45681 said, try another set of terminals. Do you hear the relay click for the backward direction command?
So, you can test the SC-2 port with a meter. It could be a loose wire for the backward direction. Trying another set of terminals will fix a loose wire and eliminate testing that port.
How do you power the SC-2? just curious...
