Thank you so much for replying. I have viewed this video, apparently the Legacy system he is using is an earlier version than mine. The module he uses is white for TMCC. My Legacy version has a black module, which I believe is for TMCC according to the legacy manual I have. Sounds simple enough. I have tried several times to program the TMCC engine to no avail with out utilizing the black module. Before I try programming with the black module I would like to reset the engine. However, both the video and even the TMCC set up instructions for the engine only tell you how to reset the engine with the TMCC controller. Naturally I would like to reset the engine using my Legacy controller. I recently purchased the Lionel legacy SD40-2 Tunnel engine, and after a few tries I was successful in programming that engine. I will keep trying. I'm sure there is an easy fix for this. Those who know ,know. Frustrating for a newbie like me.

Here is a more up to date video from Lionel.  It shows you how to manually enter all the information.

The Black Module is not directly for TMCC.  It is a writable module.  It can be written as a system software module or a multi-engine module.  I suspect it's no relevant for you adding your engine to the Legacy Cab2.

An older one from Lionel also showing TMCC entry.
