Came across a set box, I believe it to be from 1961-1963. I have not been able to identify this set. Can you help? What came in the set?

From the Schmid book:
19323 or 9853 was an uncataloged set available from Sears in 1963.
Contents:

6059-50 Caboose
262-1 Highway Crossing Gate
8 O27 curved, 3 straight and one uncoupling track

I trust this helps.

Thank you Peter that explains it, everything you mentioned was with the box and in great condition, except for the red and white Beechcraft, the 6500-1 flat car in black (no lettering or number) is present.

Glad I could help.
I love Promotional sets. I am fortunate to have two:
9674, a Sears set from 1961. Picture below. Pulled by a SantaFe 616 diesel switcher.
X-574 NA, an Abrahan & Strauss set from 1960 pulled by a 246 2-4-2 steamer. It featured a 3386 Giraffe car. Set box and set pics below.

I searched the internet trying to understand the "battery switch" (on-off switch) for the DC motor blower on the PW Lionel 3470. I thought the promotional set may have been made without the switch, I saw nothing inside the shell that looked like a switch and the wiring was original straight to the motor from the batteries.
I never had a 3470 before now. Then it hit me that the red knob everyone calls a "switch" is really a spreader that wedges between the two Type "D" batteries to open the circuit when rotated from the outside of the shell. Lionel became very simple in the early 1960s. Thanks again for your help with identification.
