I recently Purchased the MTH DCS and Wifi and my other two engines added fine (one Diesel and another subway set). But My protosound 3 R32 subway set isn't adding. It worked when i used it in conventional mode and even did a factory reset on it. and it still wouldn't add and i made sure the switch was set to DCS.
the WIU is on version 1.1
TIU is on version 6.1 (latest version)
Is it possible to do a complete Factory reset from the DCS app?

Can you put it on a spare piece of track connected directly to the TIU and try again?
I have to ask, how is your track signal strength?
What exactly do you see when it's on the rails? Does it show any new address when you try adding to the app?
What version is your app? ( the free basic one?) You can only have 3 total engines on that app.
The board maybe scrambled and the reset that you did may not have cured it. Can you take it to anyone with a remote?
I'm not a tech and I'm just throwing out what maybe happening.
You can't reset it if it's not in the app yet.
Is there an recover engine feature listed in the app? (I have to go see)
I have the version that gives you everything, not the basic one.
the train runs fine in conventional, i even ran it yesterday but once i try to add it too the app, it doesn't pick up at all. the other 2 picks up fine so i know its not the app or the WIU-TIU. The switch is even on the DCS side.
Take everything else off of the rails if you won't set up a test track.
I fount out the problem when i took my subway car apart, the wire that connects to the DCS/DCC switch was off so it has to be re soldered to the switch. thats why the dcs wasn't picking it up. i never even taken this train apart up until now.
