I just discovered this thread. I love your layout. You're doing an excellent job. I will be following your progress in the future.
Thanks for the comments, guys!
For sure!
Here some odds and ends I've been doing. Not train related, but I decided to hang up my string instruments in the man cave.
Added an LED to the station...
Here's a "concrete" pad between the tracks I made out of scrap paneling I had laying around. Next I'm going to add some welding LEDs.

Finally got a chance to catch up on your layout thread, FANTASTIC!! You packa big punch into what is one of the best small layouts exhibited
Looks great! Now we can have a little Johnny Cash train music while running trains!!

Thanks, Steve! That's been my goal with this layout. I managed to fit in two loops, a yard, engine facility, and a reverse loop along with with trying my best wih scenery. There is also quite a bit of lighting and DCS funcionality - I really need to post a video.
Another requirement from my wife is to have a Plasticville Cathedral on the layout. This is a new release that came in white with a grey roof. I did some painting yesterday - I'm not completely satisfied yet.
great progress.... really looks great!!!!!!!
nice stuff!!
The Cathedral looks great. I like the colors a lot. Nice crisp and clean layout in a clean room.
I changed up the building sequence this week. I ordered a WS Corner Emporium for the right-end of the strip, but it ended up looking better on the left corner.
As much as I like the Menards bar and grill building, I just don't think it goes with the rest of the WS buildings. So for now I'm going to put it back in its box and in the meantime find something else for the the right corner.
Those are good photos of a neat street scene. I like the colors, sidewalk detail and the night scene is really nice.
Hey guys - here's an update from the dog days of summer. Between the heat and/or rain I've needed something to do when not riding motorcycle or cruising in the 'Stang.
This weekend I worked on the downtown with sidewalks and street. Also picked up a '66 Bronco and two Walthers kits.
The downtown area looks great. All the small details really bring it to life.
The oil yard looks like it will be a fine scene.
You're making me feel like a lazy loser ! You're work is fantastic. You have done a fantastic job with a relatively small space. What will you do when you're finished ? :-)

Thanks, Joe. I'd like to fill it with Artista figures, street lamps, etc.

Well, the real reason got some work done is because my wife was out of town for a week!
What will I do when it's finished? The way I am with my car and motorcycle - I'll never be finished or satisfied.
What did you make the side walks out of?
Hey Al,
I bought them from an eBay seller named ultimatetrains - they're laser-cut wood.
Thanks Andy
I'm behind on updating, so...
Hung three aluminum shelves...
Changed out the Plasticville coal tower for one from Lionel...
Looks great!
Looks great PRR fan as always !!!!!!

I second Mark's comment!! Great PRR modeling, and great modeling in general!!
beautiful
Your attention to detail really makes your layout shine. Great job.
Great job! That Lionel coaling tower is pretty sharp.
Couldn't quite make out the red car on my tablet. Looks like a 1970 Chevelle. If yes, I had a navy blue one, "back in the day" that I drove.
Tom
Thanks for all the comments, guys. This part of the layout is taking awhile - I'm trying to get everything just right.

Thanks, Tom. I really like the coal tower, but it needs weathering. I can't decide to do it myself or send it to a proffesional.
Yup, it's a '70 Chevelle 454 SS - just picked it up two weeks ago. It's from Greenlight's Fast and Furious line.
PRR fan, Any chance you can update this with a trackplan again?
I have read your posts in other threads referencing it , and would appreciate a chance to take a look at it.
Best Regards,
