Thanks. I notice in that thread they mentioned the different series of JST connectors and even had a PDF showing all the different types. They were mainly discussing TMCC connectors. Are the EH series connectors the same ones used on MTH PS2 3V and PS32 boards?

This is the type of crimper you'll need ( IWS-3220M ) it goes down to 1 mm wide terminals and crimps both the wire and insulation.

I crimped this terminal using the 1.3mm position.

You will really want the JST-PH connectors as the JST-EH and JST-XH are both 2.5mm pitch connectors and not 2.0mm pitch connectors.

I guess this begs the question then… where is a good place to find a set of the needed PH connectors?

I buy them on AliExpress as the larger sizes aren't in most of the kits available on-line.  You can buy one of the kits for all the connectors up to 5 positions cheap, then add in the additional connectors you need.  Here's the link to add-on JST-PH Connector Shells., they go up to 12 positions, the biggest one you'll need for a 3V PS/2 board or the PS32 board.

Thanks for the link! I found a 2-5 kit and then will use your link for the rest.

What does everyone suggest I use for wire? 22 or 24 AWG? I have sets of both but only 6 colors for each type. Ideally I’d like to use all the MTH factory colors.

The MTH wiring is #22 for power and motor and #28 for everything else.  Obviously, #24 will be fine for the stuff that used #28.

Does anyone know where I can get the 2 Pin Molex connectors that MTH uses as well?

They're Molex Mini-SPOX 2.5mm connectors.

Any variety of colored ones by chance? Not entirely necessary, but I thought I might be a nice to use different colors for different connections.

You can buy the mini-SPOX connectors in a whole rainbow of colors.  Truthfully, I normally just buy a slug of white ones and then color them with a colored marker if I want a colored one.
