Folks<

I'm running the sound  file that came with the Rudolph 2-8-0. Don't tell the kids, but I doubt it is prototypical

I'm looking for a sound file with better chuff and a cooler whistle. Any suggestions? The whistle isn't bad, but the chuff has a ding ding sound worked into it, that is driving me ding dong! Any suggestions? It doesn't need to be 2-8-0, just good.

If it's 5-volt, the sound file from the Premier ATSF 2-8-2 Mikado is a good one. The drivers on the Mikado are smaller, so there's less of a a discrepancy with the driver size on your 2-8-0.

If it's 3-volt, the sound file from the Premier ATSF 4-6-4 Hudson is good. The driver size is larger than that of the Rail King, so the chuff won't perfectly match the wheel rotation.

Hope this helps.
