i have tens on the main line but in each yard they are 3 & 4 and and less. it causes issue with engines starting up, getting engine not on track.
Would a a bulb or light hooked to each yard track help the signal? I do have one hooked into my main panel where the TIU is connected to.

A light bulb may help, however, I don't believe that it would do very much if it's your entire yard that's having signal strength issues.
Exactly how did you with the yard and are you using track power for the yard switches?

I think it will and you may not have to put a bulb on every track. One way to find out. Maybe even try leaving a post war caboose (single bulb) at the end of the siding. Any 18 or so volt bulb should work. Wait a minute, are we talking dead end tracks?
Yes, all are dead end tracks and all switches are using track power.
I have signal issues and my whole layout is essentially a collection of dead end tracks all strung together. All the power blocks are powered from one end closest to the TIU. No track block is longer than about 12 feet. I just pulled everything that was track powered off of track power no switches or anything. im still having issues with going from 10 to zero
If you have a spare channel put it to work on the sidings. 2 signal generators are better than 1.

Exactly how did you wire the yard.
Also, don't power switch tracks using track power. It kills the DCS signal.

They are are wired thru toggle switches to shut off/on each yard track.

Starting at the TIU outputs, where do the wires go?
