I have a GS 1 with Vanderbilt Tender and it is pulling 6 GGD Harriman Cars with no problem,it had to go back to Lionel for out of box repairs which took 2 months.Detail is great as well as the different whistle sounds.

I have a GS-4 (SKU 2031520). So far, it is a beautiful engine. I've only had it running for a few weeks. No problems so far with any of it's features. I'm pulling a set of 7 Lionel 18 inch heavyweight passenger cars and the engine handles it without any difficulty.
