Q: signal sounds board?

I have a spare diesel signal sounds board. Since these require no amp board I was thinking I might add one to an ERR DC Commander kit.
Of course the SS board cannot plug directly into the ERR board but the ERR board does have serial data connections for railsounds.
So the real question here is, what are the pin connections on the SS board? Which pins are DC +\-, speaker, and serial data?

It has been a while, and there are a few variants of the SS board, but if this is the plug in one, then it would match up to the same pins the RS board has. If you have an engine, just do continuity checks to trace out the mother board and that will let you know which pins are power, speaker, data, etc... G

You can connect a SS board to the ERR board. The pinout should be the same as a RS4 board as far as serial data and power is concerned. They plug into the same socket as a RS4 board, so the pins that are used should be the same.
