I've been cultivating a relationship with QSI for a little more than a year now. This week they offered to ship to me every single 3-rail board they have remaining. They've assured me most of it is not functional to the point of plug and play, but most has promise. My problem is that I don't have the technological expertise to bring these items to functionality. We're talking DCRUs, sound boards, sound effects boards, early Proto 1 and 2 boards and so on. I know there is market for this stuff, but I'm sure it's mostly for functional stuff. I'm not sure what to do and am looking for some input.

There are a number of people on this site who have the know how to help you with these boards, but I'll let them self identify, they might not appreciate me volunteering them.
As for the market for them, I agree with you. I have a few shelf - queens that may need attention should I ever chose to fire them up. Also, QSI sound boards have a lot of useful applications all over a layout.
Good Luck with them. It's nice to know that they are out there should I ever need one.
I don't know if he wants to take this on, but George (GGG) knows those boards pretty well.
Thanks, Gents!
From The Original QSI company, or the gentleman in Longmont, Co.?
These are directly from QSI, but some may be from the gentlemen in CO. it's my understanding he passed away.
