Question... Prewar Lionel Standard passenger car trucks that could swap out using prewar O trucks

I have a prewar Lionel 256 ... and its hard to find a set of 710 -712 passenger cars and noticed some prewar standard cars in the 300 series looked the same . are they wider than the 710's .

and I was thinking just swap trucks to O gauge. and have a nice looking set..
