Hey Dave, could you give some more information on the driver's if they're synced as pictured(sort of looks like they are, I may be mistaken) and what sound set they will have? All the picture depict synced drivers, doesn't say anything about the sounds whether they have the drift chuff or like the Challengers. Are you able to give these details?

Please be aware that these locomotives were COMPOUND articulated steam locomotives, thus they would have only 4-chuffs per revolution of the front engine, after starting. They should probably have a similar sound set like the N&W Y Class compound articulateds, i.e. 8-chuffs when starting then only 4-chuffs while running.
Are you able to give these details?
Since these are compound, I wasn't planning on having dual/drift chuff in them.
Ah, thank you both. I wasn't sure what it would have, so I figured I would ask. Someone did show me a video of the first run, but I couldn't really discern what the sounds was because of the other background noise.

What does the New Haven mountain have to do with the Santa Fe 2-10-10-2?????
What about the driver's? They would eventually get out of sync like other steam engines, correct? Is the model going to be in sync or out?
I thought it would have the dual/drift chuff (8 chuffs to start then 4 chuffs running) like the Lionel N&W Y6 which are also coumpond.
