I know R100 is designed for ERR engines but since it is basically a CAB 1 mode with a speed graph I thought I would try it with EOB. I set 2 EOB engines to the 100 speed step mode and designated them R100 engines in Legacy. They start up and run great. I have forward, reverse, horn, bell, couplers and railsounds. I like the low speed performance better than the 32 speed step TMCC mode I have been running  and I really like the speed graph. A word of caution, NO BRAKES. They have to be stopped with the throttle. I don't have brakes when I run them in CAB 1 mode either. I don't know if this is normal or I have a problem. When the engine is stopped and you toggle BOOST it will go to speed step 1 and the brake will work, but only in speed step 1. Boost doesn't do anything if the engine is running. If you have an EOB engine try it, maybe you'll like it. Let me know if you have brakes.

Jim, When an EOB equipped loco is set to 128 speed step mode the boost button is one speed step at a time and the brake is one speed step down at a time (which is why there is no squealing sound!). The red throttle cw takes you up 2 steps at a time and ccw takes you down 4 steps at a time. Understand this was all designed around a cab-1 with a system limitation of 32 steps, developed long before Legacy came on the scene! Mike
