Last month, our family visited friends in Poughkeepsie, NY. While there we did some train related activities.
The first was walking across the Hudson Valley Rail Trail which spans the Hudson River. While crossing it, a CSX Freight Train went underneath. Here are some pics:

The next day we walked around Poughkeepsie and I got some shots of the bridge above from river level:
A few days later, we took the train down to DC via NYC. While waiting in the station, I got a great surprise when the New Haven MTA engine was sitting in the station. Here are some pics of the tracks and various trains:

A week later, my wife and I went to Santa Fe for our 10 year anniversary. While there, I got some pictures of the Santa Fe Station and the New Mexico Rail Runner in the station and one coming in from Albuquerque:
