Well played everyone. I really enjoyed this thread.

Gilly - they wasn't no Louisville, Chattanooga and St. Louis.  Hit were the Nashville, C&StL.  Hit were the fust Dixie Line.

One guy told me years ago that CB&Q stood for Chicago, Baltimore and Cuba (Qba?).

The L&N (Long and Nasty) din't get to be in the Family Way until the *** (Atlantic Seaboard System)  took it over in the ought-70s.  Then it all got to be part of the CSX (Crash, Smash Xplode).

EdKing, who woke up wryly this morning . . .  (which beats not waking up at all)

Please double check the answer to 32. Edward and I were having a discussion about it earlier today. My initial response was Louisville Chattanooga and St Louis. I believe the correct answer may be Nashville Chattanooga and St Louis. It was only after Edward's prompting did I reexamine my original answer. If my second answer is correct, 1/2 credit needs to go to Edward.

If there's a beer involved with my name on it at York I would like for it to go to Farmer Bill, with my complements.
