Does anyone know when these cars from the 2020 V1 catalog are expected to arrive? They were due in December and there has been radio silence on them. I've even asked during a couple of Lionel's live Facebook videos, but they didn't answer. Has anyone heard anything?

I hope soon also.  They did go pretty well and are hard to find for pre-order.  Should look great with my new T1.

The metal work is plain, not yellow like the catalog.

I don't have any of these ordered, but I do have a Railfanning the Reading DVD which has several good shots of passenger trains footage, including the Rambles.  The Reading was known for painting almost everything green.  The early diesel also had green handrails as delivered.  Looking at the dvd the passenger cars in the style lionel is making did not have green handrails on the outside.  The curve handrail mounted to the bottom of the hinged floor platforms for high platform station were yellow, but you couldn't see it from most angles if the trap door was down.

Here are a couple screen shots for illustration

What would be really cool to see is a video of 2 O Gauge T-1's double headed pulling all 6 lionel cars plus a set of 8 SGL passenger cars like a Ramble!

I'm sure once  COVID is over, a close friend and I will be getting together with each of our 6 pack of Lionel ones to put behind his T-1. We may even try it with my G-3, though I may just make that 8 cars.

I don't think any of the cars have markers. There are companies that sell them and drumheads though. I am thinking about adding them eventually.
