Hi everyone, I've a K-3343-810 Pacific with TMCC that runs great. However, last night the sound just plain quit while running. It really does not have very much run time, so I'm a little "bummed out" about it. Any suggestions? Back to the LHS for repair? Thanks!

First, check the tether. Does the tender have pickups?
If you feel comfortable taking the shell off the tender, and reseat the RS boards. I suggest unplugging them partially and then pushing them back on the pins. While you're in there, check around for any loose connections, broken wires, etc.
Do everything John stated first. If you have no luck, replace the Railsounds power board and see what you have. If you have a Lionel tech close by, have him throw the boards in his tester.
