I purchased, through an auction, a Lionel 990 Legacy base and I'm missing the antenna. I believe GRJ recommended one but I can't find it when I searched the OGR files. Thank you for your help.

Any 2.4ghz WiFi antenna will do. If you have a larger layout or are putting the command base in a low spot, you might consider a hi-gain antenna.

Yes, it has higher gain than the original 2db antenna for better signal range.

Sure, for a lot more money for an inferior antenna. Don't forget the $10 shipping.
Thanks John for all your help and the time you spend helping us

As John said, the hi-gain antenna will help, but you should also check the connections between the base and the track. My club had similar "base not found" problems on occasion and we found two issues - loose connection and some corrosion on the posts of the base and ZW-L (we sometimes operate outside in humid/damp conditions).

Thanks for the tip Andy I’ll check the connections tomorrow when I install the new antenna. Waiting till then because the base is beneath the layout
