Red Caboose GP9

Hi Guys.

Can anyone tell me if a Red Caboose GP9 shell will drop onto a powered Atlas GP9 unit or will it require some fiddling around to get it to fit and work. I believe that Atlas actually bought the RC GP9 moulds but I don't know if they then altered them at all.

Any help or advice/comments will be gratefully received.

5 or 10 years ago when Atlas came out with the 1st GP-9 I tried just what you are asking and the RC shell fit the Atlas frame perfectly. I think the way they attached to the frame was slightly different but it fit right down to the walkways with no gaps.
