I'm trying to enter my complete Bush Funeral Train into the Lionel website to register it for the warranty. When I get the first 3 numbers entered (202) I get, "Sorry no products eligible for warranty were found. Please register as an out of warranty product."

What's up with that?

Here's what I sent...

Good Morning/Afternoon Dave,

I was referred to email you from the O gauge RR site.
I recently purchased the Bush Funeral Train set and the 2 expansion pack 3 and 4 to get the full consist.
I have been trying to put these into the Product warranty registration page on My Lionel.
When I start putting in the Product number beginning with 202,  I get, "Sorry no products eligible for warranty were found. Please register as an out of warranty product."
This isn't out of warranty, so what's up with this? Others on the site are also inquiring.

I in fact did receive a reply email from Dave Olson. His response is this and I quote,
"There is no point to registering a product for warranty. You just need your receipt. We stopped supporting the registration feature a couple of years ago."

So there you have it, straight from Lionel itself. Now all the inquiring minds know....
