Last February we ran a special on two pallets of Woodland Scenics' Ethyl's Gas Station for a little more than our cost, while they lasted. We sold them all in about ten days. Well, we are doing it again - we have two pallets of Woodland Scenic's IGA J. Frank's Grocery Stores coming in. We are offering them FIRST to our OGR Forum Cronies and at the terrific price of $94.96 plus $15 shipping. They're available for your pre-orders now on our website at mrmuffinstrains.org/shop. We expect to be shipping these out by the end of the month - the first week of November at the latest.
We were at the IHobby Show in Chicago last weekend; confirmed our order with Woodland Scenics; and grabbed this shot of their display model.
J.Frank's is modeled after the independently owned grocery stores that began sprouting up in the early to mid-1900s and can still be seen today in cities and small towns throughout America.
Details and accessories include loading dock w/dolly, large display windows, awnings, a kiddie ride out front and more. The building features printed interior and window treatments. The O Scale version includes two white LED interior lights and one exterior light over loading dock. The interior detailing was amazing. We are planning to add 2 to our layout - we're starting a chain! Okay - maybe 3!
