I just bought a replacement UP F3 Shell #901 for the Lionel 6-24552 set. The shell is brand new from North Lima Train Works, but I need to remove the hatch that has the 4 fans and 2 smokestacks on it. It looks like when they came from the Lionels factory they use some kind of glue or adhesive to hold the hatch on so I'm unable to take it off. Has anyone had the same problem with a similar shell and how did you loosen the glue to remove the hatch. Just for info the other 2 smaller hatches came right off and no adhesive was used on these 2 hatches. Thanks Gary

Why do you need to remove these? Pictures would help explain why...
Shawn here are a couple pictures of the shell that I want to get the hatch out of. I need to get this hatch because to on in the original locomotive got broken and you can't but just this hatch from Lionel in the UP-harbor mist grey color. I have the Santa Fe F3's and all 3 hatches come off no problems.
