Repair of 6-38056 M1a | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Our M1a has been in the shop for 6 months and my dealer can't repair it. He replaced the flywheel magnets but I now suspect the TMCC controller board, which always operated strangely (to slow down you had to stop and then start up). Our club needs a dealer that is good with TMCC in the Lancaster, PA area (Philly, Baltimore) and can fix our M1a. Any suggestions?

Flywheel magnets? I see on the Lionel site, there are no parts for the M1a TMCC version. I would just put a ERR Cruise M into it. Is that possible?
