Hi Guys,
This latest project is one that has bothered me for sometime now. However, I'm now ready to take on the job! My fried PS 2 is on the operating table with my first question towards repair. There is a Mosfet located near U10 that is definitely bad. It's physically obvious, so you know it's bad. From looking at a good board, it appears that the part number is 352A. I checked with Mouser and they show it, but the 2 that they list have different "drain source breakdown voltages", one with a negative 30, and the other positive. Question, is this a significant spec.? Second question, what's the next likely component in this circuit that "usually" goes? I apologize, I should ask one question at a time, BUT...................
Best Regards,
Joe
