Just inherited a decent looking 2324 switch tower, but the solenoid is completely shot and seized up. A general search for parts is coming up empty so far. Any suggestions, or should I just look for a different building?

The solenoid is likely common to most solenoid "motor" Lionel accessories, ie newsstand, gateman and others.
Newer towers use dc motors instead of Solenoid based mech.
Junkers are a good place to fine mech parts, stay away from rusty or water damaged units.
Ok thanks, is Ebay the best place to search for junkers?
I've got a 445 switch tower junker with a working solenoid.
