Emailing them directly or on their contact Page will help them get stuff done easier
Are you looking for somebody who has them for sale?
Andrew
Nope, it's a thread where I get to share my ideas of what I think MTH should make. I also have a thread for Lionel items.
Southern Pacific 4-6-2 Pacific as used on the West Coast.
Mikey
How about some diesel engines for Reading & Northern railroad? MTH makes a few freight cars for Reading & Northern so it's time for some motive power.

BNSF ES44C4. Should be easy enough, just correct trucks and cab numbers. Maybe too easy, they'll screw it up......
PhillyReading,
Check the MTH product locator. They did do the SD40 and SD50's if I remember correctly.
I can still keeping hoping for the Western Maryland I-2 Decapod and/or K-2 Pacific in Premier. Maybe a Reading 4-4-2, or one the D&H's massive 2-8-0's???
I would like to see Chessie Premier or Railking Scale GP40 or GP40-2 made again?
Good evening, how about an Imperial Pennsy K4 with the larger boiler similar to the M1A imperial.
I have the Imperial L1 Mikado and it looks lost sitting next to my M1A Imperial locomotive.
I would also like them to reproduce a crane car and a crane cabin car in the Premier Line in the Pennsy road name.
for steam the PRR E1 4-4-2 Atlantic Camelback- can also be done in P&R
The USRA N2 for which the PRR had some and so did other roads
for diesel: a PRemier U25C. MTH has the trucks, Fuel Tank, and the steps. We just need the Body!
An Sd60M Triclopse
an Sd70 Standard Cab - Conrail, Ns, IC,
BIG SKY BLUE Great Northern Passenger cars Premier!
The Russian Decapod in Frisco, preferably 1630.
After all, it's the only operable one out of the surviving six Russians. I know this falls on deaf ears at MTH (I emailed them about it after they did the first run.)

Would you settle for a not massive D&H Connie?

I know this may be a long shot because no one has ever asked for them and no one models the PRR so they probably wouldn't sell but models of the E-2b, E-3b or E-3c would be nice
Due to its ownership by only one railroad, the Central Railroad of New Jersey, it'll probably never happen in mass produced plastic but how about the Baldwin DRX6-4-2000? HO models in brass were released by Overland so a brass model by 3rd Rail might be the best bet for an O scale version but I figured I'd throw it out there anyway.
Bob
How about the Amtrak E-60 or even better the new Amtrak ACS-64 electric. I think one of the HO manufacturers are doing the ACS-64 and I am sure an O gauge version would sell very well.
I want a Central of Georgia steam engine. I don't have a favorite, just pick a premier engine
that you can do a good job on for CoG. There may not be many of us that want one, but I
know that i'm not the only one. I also love the refinery.
How about a Railking Genesis in phase V with dummy unit.
Joe B
A PENN CENTRAL RS-1 with 2 white worms. And offer non powered units as well.
Narrow Gauge inspired locomotives. They would not have to run on On3 of course, regular O gauge track. I think an O gauge D&RGW K-27 and K-36 looking loco's would be a good mix for all the old time rolling stock MTH makes. Not to mention Rio Grande Southern, Colorado and Southern, and White Pass and Yukon.

Do you have the item number? MTH product locator works much better with an item number then a roadname.
How about the GP-35 or the U23B in Reading & Northern?

- There was an O-scale brass kit for the CNJ "Two-Face" Baldwins, made by Locomotive Workshop. Hardcore project.
- The Big D&H 2-8-0 could be done on the MTH Big WM 2-8-0 chassis (did they offer such in D&H lettering? They offered multiple roads).
- Speaking of, and I am shocked that Mike Wolf, from Maryland, has not offered one of the Big, really Big, WM Decapods. The L&HR had some similar locos, and these WM could also represent some other heavy 2-10-0's - like the GM&O's.
- Charles N. - yes, a CofG steamer would be quite nice. Lionel's Light USRA 4-8-2 from some years back could be a plausible stand-in for a CofG Mountain, and certain details could be changed - like CofG's distinctive late Elesco FWH. As the CofG's "Big Apples" (the 4-8-4) were Wartime copies of the Southern Pacific GS-6 Northerns, the basic loco has actually been modeled by Lionel...problem is, the "body" of the model is SP, and the CofG's Big Apples were mechanically identical, but had different appliances and were not streamstyled - so the apparent resemblance is slight. And the Big Apples had that really small tender (easy to change).
How about a GP-39-2 or a GP-40-2 for the Reading Lines?
Lee Fritz
Dreamin' big:
High-hood NS GP38-2.
Railking Amtrak Viewliner baggages, diners, and sleepers.
Montour SW9s.
PS3 MP15AC.
ACS64.
Brookville DES-70B or similar
Brookville BL20G
SD50/60F
GP40FH-2 and GP40WH-2
NS's new DC-to-AC GE conversion project loco, #4000
Progress Rail units
SD70ACe-T4 and ES44AC-T4.
HHP8
Port Authority LRV
Septa Kawasaki streetcars
Railking SD60E
NS 999
The US Army F59PH set which was cataloged around 2001-2002 but never produced (according to the old website).
A DCS crane car

MTH wouldn't even have to make it. If Atlas or Lionel did this model or the GP40-2 that you posted earlier I would be in for it.
As it stands, I have 2 LEGACY Chessie SD40s ordered that should be arriving in March. That's my favorite engine.
I was thinking about getting one of the Atlas Trainman Chessie or C&O U23Bs but I think I'm going to pass, at least until the next Atlas catalog comes out in about 3 or 4 weeks. I want to see if they do any new models or bring back some of their older locomotives like an SD35.
Catnap i agree but i am getting the atlas trainman chessie U23B and MTH has a new chessie SD35 with PS3 http://mthtrains.com/20-20542-1
CSX "-3" rebuilds and more Chessie stuff!
Love the refinery! I don't like to complain but I have more than 10 proto 1 & 2 boards burnt up thus the next logical choice would be a PS3 upgrade kit. I have been waiting for these things for literally years it seems to get my favorite locos back up and running, just saw a notification on the nth website a couple of months ago that they will soon be available and placed an order for 6 pieces. Customer service told me the steam boards would be available in November followed by diesel boards in December. Guess what, never got even one board and while placing an order from a forum. Ensor they said they were on his shelf for months but now sold out. How much investment t does it really take to order like 10,000 boards so everyone that needs one can get one? Why does the little guy with a small fleet have to suffer, not to mention the kids pulling at your pant legs! Make some boards to support what you sell.

I too would like to see the WM large decapod (I-2) built along with the K-2 Pacific. But don't forget the J-1 Potomacs. MTH has half the dies right now for building them
