Restoring (repainting) the Ertl 9048 1:43 scale diecast 1950 tractor trailer set

This diecast model includes a 1950 Chevy COE tractor and trailer very similar to the prototype photo attached. Since this model has later design "Chevrolet" logos it needs to be repainted to replicate a more typical 1950s vehicle. The cab can be disasembled by drilling out the rivets underneath. The trailer can be disassembled by removing the screws on the underside. The logos on the trailer appear to be paper decals.

Note: The model is actually a "coin bank" having a coin slot in the roof of the trailer. This coin slot needs to be hidden after repainting the trailer.
