Road Champs 64503 1:43 scale diecast 1956 Ford F-100 "Texaco" pickup truck
This 1:43 scale diecast vehicle is a neat model that could be used with O scale model railroads. It is a close replica of the classic 1956 Ford pick-up truck. The model has "rubber" tires and a detailed interior. The side doors and tailgate can be opened. The model as shown is lettered for "Texaco" and includes a load of Oil Drums. This model also has separately applied chrome bumpers and a rear tow hitch.
Note: The tow hitch has been removed as shown in the photos.

The 1956 F-100 is a one-year only body style. The 1956 F-100 is easily identified as it has vertical windshield pillars and a wrap around windshield as opposed to the sloped pillars and angled windshield of the 1953-55. The 1956 model also offered a larger wrap-around back window as an option.
