Last evening we once again had the opportunity to setup our modular layout at the Ronald McDonald House in Hershey, PA to help celebrate their annual Tree Lighting and Christmas Party, if we would set up our layout only one time each year this is the event that I, and many others in our club would choose. All the children who were patients at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center and those parents and siblings that stayed at the Ronald McDonald House during the year come back for this event. Not only are we a big hit with the kids we are also a big hit with the adults. We have much to offer from our drive-in theater to out Lego built downtown area. We always allow the children to run train be it DCS or Legacy they get to operate the controller on their own after a quick lesson. Our newest addition is the Lionel remote Thomas, WOW! what a hit that was, this little guy ran forward ,backward and forward again for almost 4 solid hours and never missed a beat. It was just an enjoyable time for us as well as our visitors, here are a few pictures of the event.
