I accidentally hit the max speed button during operation of a Legacy engine. Engine quickly ramped up speed. But the speed became locked. Only way to get out was to shut off power. Close app. Then start all over. Is there a better way? There is no way to down adjust the max speed to avoid this.

Really? How did you try to adjust speed downward? Did you try just tapping the rear direction arrow? That should have brought it to a halt.
I tried dragging the indicator, hitting the minus sign, then hitting reverse. Engine continued to accelerate. Turned power off then on. Still at max. Then I swiped off the app. and restarted app. Only then could I down adjust it before re starting.
Barry- thanks for the quick reply (as usual) I got a big party tonight and I plan to show off the really neat feature of controlling Lionel engines with MTH wifi. I guess I just tell everyone to avoid using the plus sign and only drag the needle to change speed.
