I have both of the recent AF U33C locos in D&H livery and I want to run them as a lashup using my older TMCC equipment. It seems like it should be easy enough but I was wondering if anyone has done this and how to proceed.

Is 'Lashup' legal in the S scale world???
I have the first-run of U33Cs, while I believe the D&H model was part of the second run. Anyway, page 10 of the owners manual has a heading that covers "Lash-ups (for LEGACY operations only).
Reading that, I'm not sure you'll be able to do one in TMCC mode.
Also beware, that the gear-drive ratio was changed on these models between the first and second runs which would also make a mutli-unit consist problematic. The gear ration change improved low speed response at the expense of the top end.
I have the A.F. U33 Santa Fe unit's lashed together under Legacy and they run fine together.

I found a procedure on page 22 of the TMCC Complete Guide to Command Control for TMCC lashups. I guess I won't know if it works on Legacy engines until I try it will I? I'll report back.

Flyer Rich, how did this work out? I have 2 new Legacy units but only have tmcc cab 1 at this time.
I have yet to try it. One of the Legacy U-boats is currently at Lionel with a detached drive wheel issue. If I can find the time when it gets back I will still try to report. Do you need a copy of the procedure?
FlyerRich, I tried it tonight using page 22 from the cab1 manual. After 2 tries it works as it should. I have 2 of the Norfolk Southern Heritage diesels in a lashup. They point in opposite directions of each other. It is quite impressive.
My other U33C will be back Tuesday...I have goosebumps
