This weekend I went up to "Old Town" in Sacramento, CA, with my wife and parents.  We stayed at the Delta King Hotel.  This is an old paddlewheel ferry that sailed passenger service up the Sacramento River between San Francisco and Sacramento from 1927 to 1940.  It is now a stationary hotel on the river waterfront.  It is in the old historic part of Sacramento...which also is the home of the California State Railroad Museum.  I shot a few photos of some rail action related to the museum.  There was a diesel switcher, the Sacramento Southern 2030 switching out old Southern Pacific Daylight passenger cars to different tracks.
