Tomorrow is the day!!
I just wanted to post a brief report about the AGTTA meet in La Jolla on Saturday.
My wife and I drove down from Temecula on a crisp, sunny California Saturday. Although we are not members of the group we were made to feel welcome at the entrance and wow!, what a packed hall!
There were so many people there that it took a while to thread our way through the aisles. This being an all gauge club, you could find examples of every gauge from N through G, and probably some others that I'm not familiar with!
Every one was in a Holiday, festive mood and the addition of several Christmas layouts all running and making their own special brand of clicking and clacking added to the fun.
We met Anthony, who explained the Club meetings and events and encouraged us to come to their next meeting in January.
I even managed to find some classic cedar smoke fluid. I wore my Madison Hardware shirt for the occasion hoping to maybe meet some other Forum members, but none seemed to surface although they may have been busily looking at all the exciting stuff... like we were!
All in all a great time, and it has us looking forward to the next time.
did you stop by the dog bone Thomas layout in the lobby?
I was there for most of the day. captaincog saw me.
